Printmaking
Including additive, subtractive and trace monotype as well as my favourite method- dry point etching.
Monotype
Outcome 1
One thing I like about this print is that you can't make out what is in front of you until you examine it closely and a distraught face appears which gives it a haunting appearance.
Monotype
Outcome 2 ('Ghost' Print)
Some particles of ink have been lifted off while others remain, giving a TV static appearance as if your eyes are trying to adjust to the dark.

Outcome 3
I used these colours to represent the sun as they are bright and cheerful in contrast to the cold blue colour of the baby's eyes, mouth and tears. These warm colours do however have threatening undertones which may suggest that the baby feels in danger or under threat, hence why it is crying.

Outcome 4 ('Ghost' Print)
This image is faded which makes it appear as if the sun is shining with light.
